Banana Ice Cream

I don’t consider myself to be a health food nut but, I do want my son to eat healthy and to have a good relationship with food. So far I’ve been lucky, my son loves fruits and veggies. However, my child is also like the billions of other kids on the planet and loves dessert as well. His absolute favorite (and mine too) being ice cream. Today I’m going to show you how to make a healthier alternative to regular ice cream, that is also toddler approved. IMG_9931

Here’s what you’ll need:

Food Processor Or Blender

5 Frozen Bananas

1/2 Cup of Milk (Any Kind)

2 Tablespoons of Honey

(I usually buy about 2 bunches of bananas a week and sometimes we don’t get around to eating all of them. Naturally the peeling starts turning brown. Instead of throwing them out and being wasteful. I peel them and put them in ziplock bag in the freezer.)
